BMW at the LA Auto Show 2017: Premiere for the BMW i8 Roadster and co.

Almost four years Fans had to wait: since 2013, the innovative Plug-in Hybrid BMW i8, with its expressive Design, the sports car world has been mixed, is also the talk of a no less fascinating sister model – the BMW i8 Roadster. Now it seems to be finally so far: The LA Auto Show in 2017, at the beginning of December in Munich to announce a purely electrical world premiere, in fact, the open fresh air-Hybrid is expected to act.

An official confirmation is lacking to date, as well as more detailed information on the technical specifications of the i8 Roadster. Different sources talk of a system output of around 400 horsepower, a significant increase compared with the 362 HP of the current, closed model. The pure electric range is likely to be considerably higher than that of the conventional i8, which is indicated with 37 kilometres. Official information is expected in the next few weeks.

In addition to the open i8 to bring the Munich-based several other world and U.S. premieres to Los Angeles, among other things, the yesterday presented the BMW M3 CS. Rounding out the BMW appearance at the LA Auto Show in 2017, the studies BMW X7 iPerformance and BMW 8 Series Concept. Also particularly interesting for the important American market: the new BMW M5 and the BMW 6 series Gran Turismo, both of which are shortly before the market introduction.
