BMW China: Jochen Goller will be the new head of the Mega-market

The largest and most important single market for the BMW Group from 1. March 2018 under new management. Then Jochen Goller takes over the management of BMW Group Region China, and is the successor of Olaf Kastner. The current head of the Munich in the last few years, one of the most successful supplier of Premium automobiles in China in the first eleven months of the current year’s BMW ahead of rivals Mercedes-Benz and Audi at the top of the segment.

Olaf Kastner was in the last two years as head of the greater China Region, he previously led for six years the Joint Venture of the BMW Group and its Chinese Partner Brilliance Automotive. His merits were also recognised by the Chinese government, which is why Kastner with the “permanent residence permit” has been awarded.

Jochen Goller is already since 1999 for the BMW Group and was already between 2004 and 2009 in China. At the time, he was head of Marketing in the middle Kingdom. Between 2009 and 2015 was Goller as head of the brand MINI for the BMW Group is active, since he was head of sales and Marketing for the Joint venture BMW Brilliance Automotive. His extensive experience in China is an ideal prerequisite for the BMW Group Region China in the next few years successfully.
