Aragón: BMW M8 GTE completed further Tests before Le Mans

The 24 hours of Le Mans cast their shadows ahead, soon the official prologue of the FIA World Endurance Championship takes place in Le Castellet. The race in the run-up to the world-famous classic on the Sarthe river, is not only a tough test for the BMW M8 GTE, it also has a great influence on the final classification of the Balance of Performance for the much-acclaimed classic. Whether a strong showing in Le Castellet is good for a success in Le Mans, so it is by no means certain.

In the next tests, which will be held this week in Aragón, Spain, Castellet, the BMW M8 GTE, on the prologue in Le and, of course, to the race in Le Mans prepared. At the official prologue of the BMW M8 GTE will meet the same competitors as in the case of the 24 hours of Le Mans in the GTE Pro class with Corvette C7.R, Porsche 911 RSR, Ford GT, Ferrari 488 GTE Evo and Aston Martin Vantage AMR fairs.

In the case of the test in this week, runs with the DTM drivers Augusto Farfus and Philipp Eng and the former DTM Champion Martin Tomczyk experienced pilots sitting in the Cockpit, in addition, BMW Motorsport Junior Mikkel Jensen from Denmark is allowed to collect first experience with the BMW M8 GTE. For the middle of June, rising long-distance classic at Le Mans, BMW Motorsport is planning with the use of two BMW M8 GTE. The starting points 81 and 82 are used by the Team MTEK and go like all the cars of the GTE Pro class with high performance tyres from Michelin at the Start.
