April 2018: BMW Group increases worldwide sales by 1.2 percent

Also at the start of the second quarter, the BMW Group managed to increase its global sales more. In April 2018, the value of the previous year was exceeded by 1.2 percent, thus, the sales figures increased on 194.889 units with the brands BMW, MINI and Rolls-Royce. The core BMW brand stands for 167.275 units and a growth of 1.6 percent, while MINI sales declined by 0.9% to 27.329 units.

Particularly high growth of electrified models from BMW i, iPerformance and MINI Electric show.
