I am very happy for all the guys in the Team because we have worked over the Winter all is extremely hard. But if one has seen Marco and Augusto that not all of the little things to match perfectly. The DTM field is so tight that you can fight fast only the tenth place.“

The duel with Gary reminded me of a fight between two boxers in the Ring. We have given us nothing, and both wanted to end the victory. It was a hard but very fair fight. For us, it was the podium on Saturday, as well as the pole position and the victory today is a fantastic kick-off weekend.“

Since it was at the top so exciting, not to many have noticed what an incredible race Bruno hazards. To start due to the penalty from the very back and then up to the eighth row of the grid, is great. The Team has shown in him also the fastest pit stop of the race. Philip could not drive from the back of the field forward, but has also learned a lot. Now we will draw our Lessons from this weekend and the top prepared to go to the lausitzring.“

Bruno Spengler (#7 BMW Bank M4 DTM, BMW Team RBM – Qualifying result: 14. Place Race Result: 8. Place, points: 12): “I went to my penalty for blocking in Qualifying, from the very back to the eight rank to the front. The car was very good over the distance. It has been really fun. The Team did a super Job, and our strategy was good and also during the pit stop, the guys were really fast. The penalty after Qualifying has cost us some points. But for now, we focus on the Lausitzring.“
