The votes to the race from New York to 2018:

Jens Marquardt (BMW Motorsport Director): “After the completion of this season, the dawning of a new Era for BMW and the formula E with a view to season 5. Our preparations for entry in the racing series as a factory team with the new Gen2 vehicle continue to run at full speed. I am very much looking forward to our vehicle in the coming months for test rides and then, of course, in his race debut in December. BMW is ‘Official Vehicle Partner’ for the first hour and Partner of formula E and has always believed in the success of the race series. Now we go together to the next step.“

António Félix da Costa (#28 Andretti ATEC-003): “First of all, I must apologize to Luca Filippi. The accident in the race today, was my fault. I am left very early on the throttle to save energy, and didn’t expect his attack. Looking back on the season I have to say that we have learned a lot. From the point of view of BMW Motorsport the was entry-level in preparation for the Work to be season 5 for sure not the main goal. We also had some races where we were quickly and significantly further forward could have ended up. But overall, we didn’t have the package to get the results I want to achieve as a racer.“

Stéphane Sarrazin (#27 Andretti ATEC-003): “it was a long race this weekend. Unfortunately, it still wasn’t enough for points. On Sunday at the wet track we have seen that we are fast. But our power management is not efficient enough to be able to over the race distance with the Best.“
