We had a couple of difficult races, but no one has ever doubted the potential of the new vehicle. Even after the difficult race in Road Atlanta, nobody was beaten, instead we all knew: It is only a matter of time, until it works. Today is that day. I am very proud that we were able to make the strength of the BMW M8 GTE in the environment of the most powerful GT race cars of the world.”

Brandon Fry (BMW Team RLL Technical / Racing Operations Director): “today was a strong team performance, everyone has done a great Job! We had to stop a good pit strategy, and the drivers are outstanding hazards. On this event we have been working for a while, had to struggle on this way with bad luck, but today has finally fit everything. I am very proud of the Team!”
