BMW 8er coupe: New photos G15 with M package show in White

With a little luck, the new BMW is 8 G15 for several weeks, completely fallen, although the market launch and therefore the sale to the first customer is yet to come.. Our readers Ivo has seen over the weekend, a factory test car and directly for taking a picture of us, which is why we now have the first impressions of the white BMW 8er coupe in the fee-free Uni-paint Alpine. As the little yellow Reflectors up before the front wheels, this is the US spec.

The completely ungetarnte and apparently series production car also features the M sport package, the 20-inch M light-alloy wheels Y-spoke 728 M Bicolor and the BMW Individual Shadow Line with extended contents. The latter ensures that the kidneys and renal struts, the Air Breather of the front fender and the tailpipes Shine in Black. Especially in combination with bright colors such as Alpine white is such an interesting accent.

Externally, there is a corresponding configuration to distinguish the new BMW 840d from the M Performance model M850i. With enhanced Shadow Line which are designed, otherwise, as a sign of recognition in Cerium Grey running items in Black, also, the trapezoidal tailpipe Design is the same.

The most important references to the Top model, therefore, give two Details that are hardly noticeable to a casual observer: on the one Hand, the braking system includes at the front and rear axle in the case of the BMW M850i xDrive with significantly larger brake discs. And on the other hand, the reflector reveals in front of the front wheel, that it can’t be a 840d – because the Diesel is not offered in the USA.

In the year 2019, a BMW 840i will come as a further Alternative, for 8-seater driver in the trade. As us product Manager Sarah Leßmann already in Le Mans, has confirmedthat the 840i as the first, only 8 even without the xDrive all-wheel drive offered. Is crowned the 8-series, finally, with the BMW M8, which engages with over 600 HP and M xDrive.
